I 'm Roberto Torresani, I live in Trento (Northern Italy) and I've been using TYPO3 since 2004. Over the years I've been one of the most active members of the Italian community, organising events such as T3Camp Italia (the first TYPO3 event in Italy) which brought together developers, agencies and industry experts.
For eight years I was part of TYPO3's Business Control Committee (BCC), acquiring a deep knowledge of the financial and strategic aspects of the Association. In addition, I participated in international and Italian initiatives to spread TYPO3, including representing the CMS at the Italian Web Marketing Festival, with over 4,000 participants.
After a few years devoted to family commitments and a professional evolution that led me to become 100% freelance again, I am now ready to commit again to contribute to the TYPO3 community at international level.
TYPO3 has been a central element of my career path for more than 20 years. I have always believed in the value of open-source collaboration and have actively worked to grow the community, in Italy and beyond.
My experience in the BCC allowed me to fully understand the mechanisms of the Association, ensuring transparency and efficiency in its financial operations.
Now that I can dedicate myself to the board again, I want to put my experience at the service of the Association, contributing to its growth and helping it to face new challenges. Thanks to my knowledge of both the Italian and international context of TYPO3, I believe I can make a valuable contribution to ensuring a solid and sustainable future for the project.
