I love working with Open Source Software and in particular I love the connections I've made with people along the way. Recently I've found that same sense of community with TYPO3 at the Dev Days and last year's London Camp. Running the PHP events (and 14 years of Parent Teacher Associations :D) means I know how to work on a committee.
TYPO3 is already well represented in Central Europe. Working in a country where the platform is less well known, I can bring a different perspective. Over the coming years I'd like to see TYPO3's reach expand in areas where it is currently underrepresented. I feel a responsibility to give back to Open Source so it would be great to be able to contribute my time and expertise to the board.
