I have been CEO of +Pluswerk AG for more than five years and a digital entrepreneur since the mid of 1990s. My journey in technology started even earlier: in the mid-1980s, I started exploring artificial intelligence and experimented with the early internet at an astonishing speed of 300 bits per second - all before pursuing my studies in computer science and economics.
More than a decade ago, I moved into the agency business, focusing on web and digital. Today, my core activities revolve around optimising development methods, integrating automation, analysing and improving business processes, refining corporate structures and understanding financial interrelationships. In addition, I am deeply involved in examining the changes and opportunities that the ongoing digital transformation will bring in the coming years.
TYPO3 is an outstanding system with immense potential, especially given the recent marketing investments and activities. However, as a community, we need to grow participation in key areas: increasing event attendance at T3CON, boosting memberships, promoting certifications, and fostering overall engagement. Our collective visibility as a community and as a software product depends on these efforts. My goal is to inspire and motivate more people to actively contribute, helping us showcase the true strength and impact of TYPO3 through their involvement. To achieve this, I believe it’s essential to continuously refine our strategies and ensure better integration and support for external community hubs in countries like Hungary, Romania, and France. Strengthening these local communities will further unify and empower TYPO3 on an international scale.
